Milltronics 5-axis machining centers are designed with a rotary table that provides +30°/-120° of A-axis rotation and a full 360° in the C-axis. These advanced vertical mills come equipped with a BIG–PLUS® spindle and the INSPIRE+ control, which enhances surface finish and reduces cycle times. Featuring an advanced proprietary motion engine and a 19-inch color LCD touch screen, these machining centers are built for exceptional rigidity. The wide spacing of the linear roller guideways ensures optimal support for both the table and saddle throughout the full travel of each axis.

The IL in this series of vertical machining centers refers to inline, as it features a 40-taper BIG-PLUS® dual-contact inline spindle. These inline spindles operate smoothly and quietly, minimizing heat and reducing vibration, which leads to an improved surface finish and extended tool life. With a maximum speed of 10,000 RPM, the inline spindles are powered by dual wound spindle motors that provide faster acceleration and deceleration along with increased torque. Additionally, the IL machines are designed with larger castings, quicker rapids, and an array of standard features.

The XP denotes extra power, as these CNC machines are designed with a 50 taper spindle and linear cross roller guides to ensure rigidity. They feature direct-coupled ballscrews for quicker response times, along with dual wound spindle motors that provide faster acceleration and deceleration, as well as increased torque. With up to 35 HP for optimal metal removal, the XP Series is equipped with a robust belt drive spindle and includes a variety of standard features, such as a coolant ring and washdown system, a lift-up chip conveyor, and height adjustment on the control.

The Milltronics VM Series of vertical machining centers provides an excellent blend of features and performance, all at a competitive price point. These VM Series machines utilize a belt-driven design and come equipped with standard features such as full enclosures, swing-arm tool changers, 10,000-RPM BIG-PLUS® dual contact spindles, the advanced 9000 control system, and much more.

As shown above, the TRM3016 features “drop down” door openings that facilitate long part pass-through, accommodating oversize parts with ease.

Our most popular BR Series bridge mill CNC machine, the high-speed BR6150IL, features a generous working area of 150″ x 60″ x 28″. It comes equipped with a 60″ x 150″ table and boasts a powerful 24 HP dual wound 10,000 RPM #40 taper BIG-PLUS? inline spindle. Additionally, this model is available with an optional full enclosure and a 24 station tool changer.
