Introducing INSPIRE+ v11 – the ultimate CNC operating system designed for the shop floor. This cutting-edge software features enhanced surface finish and optimized cycle times, powered by an advanced proprietary motion engine that supports future machine technologies. With robust Industry 4.0 and IoT integration, a faster graphics engine, and improved customer service capabilities, INSPIRE+ v11 truly offers the complete package.
Milltronics 5-axis machining centers feature a rotary table that offers +30°/-120° of A-axis rotation and 360° in the C-axis. These vertical mills are equipped with a BIG–PLUS® spindle and the INSPIRE+ control, which provides improved surface finish and cycle times, an advanced proprietary motion engine, and a 19-inch, color, LCD touch screen. Built for rigidity, wide spacing of the linear roller guideways ensure optimal support for the table and saddle in full travel of each axis.
The IL stands for inline since this series of vertical machining centers is equipped with a 40-taper BIG-PLUS® dual-contact inline spindle. Inline spindles run smooth and quiet with minimal heat and reduced vibration providing better surface finish and longer tool life. The 10,000 RPM inline spindles have dual wound spindle motors for faster acceleration/deceleration and more torque. The IL machines also have bigger castings, faster rapids, and more standard features.
The XP signifies extra power, as these CNC machines are designed with a robust 50 taper spindle and linear cross roller guides that enhance rigidity. Additionally, they feature direct-coupled ballscrews for quicker response times and dual wound spindle motors that provide faster acceleration and deceleration along with increased torque. With up to 35 HP standard for optimal metal removal, the XP Series is equipped with a heavy-duty belt drive spindle and includes a variety of standard features, such as a coolant ring, a washdown system, a lift-up chip conveyor, and height adjustment capabilities on the control.
The Milltronics VM Series of vertical machining centers offer a great combination of features and performance at an attractive price. VM Series machines are belt-driven and include standard features such as full enclosures, swing-arm tool changers, 10,000-RPM, BIG-PLUS®, dual contact spindles, the 9000 control, and more.
Milltronics has a long history of building versatile tool room machines that can operate in manual, teach, or full CNC modes, with thousands of satisfied users. These machines are especially popular in tool rooms, job shops, and tool & die facilities due to their flexibility, allowing for a wide variety of different parts to be manufactured. We offer two types of quill machines: the traditional knee style (VK) and the bed type (TRQ). Additionally, our rigid head (TRM) machines come in four different sizes, starting from a compact 30 x 16 inch model and extending up to a large travel 78 x 33 inch version. The TRM3016 is a notable tool room mill that combines large travels, impressive speed, and power, all at a competitive price. The TRM3016, as shown above, features convenient “drop down” door openings for long part pass-through, making it easier to accommodate oversized parts.
Our most popular BR Series bridge mill CNC machine, the high-speed BR6150IL, features a generous 150″ x 60″ x 28″ size with a robust 60″ x 150″ table. It is powered by a 24 HP dual wound spindle capable of reaching 10,000 RPM with a #40 taper BIG-PLUS? inline design. Additionally, this model can be equipped with an optional full enclosure and/or a 24 station tool changer.
The Milltronics SL Series of CNC lathes offer a great combination of features and performance at an attractive price. They are well built, reliable, and easy to use. The SL Series features robust, true slant bed castings, linear motion guide roller ways, direct coupled ballscrews, and the 9000 control.
The TRL Series represents Milltronics’ latest innovation in tool room lathes. These versatile machines can operate either manually or through the advanced 9000 DGI control, which streamlines operation, minimizes setup times, and includes features that help reduce cycle times. The TRL Series lathes deliver a powerful combination of turning and milling capabilities, specifically engineered for high-performance machining within a compact design.
These turning centers are equipped with a gap bed, and their swing diameter varies from 16.7 to 27 inches, while the Z-axis travel extends from 66.5 to 84.6 inches. The size of the chuck is determined during the purchasing process. TRL lathes feature fully balanced, direct-drive spindles that ensure quiet and smooth turning, alongside heavy exterior ribbing on the headstock for enhanced rigidity. Additionally, an 8-position, bi-directional automatic turret allows for quick and reliable tool changes.
Constructed from Meehanite cast iron, the bed, cross slide, and saddle exhibit exceptional dampening characteristics. The heavily ribbed castings enhance dampening, significantly minimizing vibration and harmonics, thus facilitating aggressive turning capabilities. Each axis is driven by a high-precision, fully-ground ball screw, supported at both ends with angular contact thrust bearings to achieve high rapid traverse rates and thrust. The tailstock design permits full cutting along the Z-axis travel, and the oversized tailstock is particularly suited for supporting heavy workpieces.
